Podtxt: Android Auto Just Leveled Up — Web Reading and Multilingual Audio Now Possible

Hi everyone,
Ugo here — Co-founder of Podtxt.

A few months ago I introduced our app to this community…
but since then, Podtxt has evolved massively.
Today I’m back with an update that’s especially relevant for Android users.

that can:
read and translate any article or webpage
convert it into natural-sounding audio
and play it directly on Android Auto

Yes — Android Auto can finally read the entire web aloud.

This feature is currently available for Premium users, but it’s the first real integration of its kind, and we’re improving it continuously.

We fixed and optimized a long list of issues:
Playlists and article adding are now fully stable
(previously limited or problematic in the free version)
Articles now appear correctly in
Home → “Updates from your feed”
From there, tapping Play opens the updated Big Player, featuring:

• instant language switching
• multi-language audio
• smoother performance

In Library → Followers you now have:

• suggested users
• profiles to follow
• the ability to search for friends using their profile name
  Every time someone you follow publishes something, it will appear in
  Home → “What’s New in Your Web Spaces.”

Podtxt is “social”, but not in the usual sense:
no chat, no posts, no noise
you simply listen to what other users share
A cleaner, smarter way to exchange knowledge.

We’re finalizing a new update with:
Big Player + instant language switching for personal playlists
Ability to delete articles
Ability to delete playlists
Move articles between playlists
Automatic prevention of duplicate playlist names

Document scanning → audio + translations
Built-in audiobooks
Email reading + translations
Everything — as always — fully converted into natural audio in multiple languages.
