Might depend on the cable, but there is quite a bit of clearance around the microusb port.

Yes, I have both. The otg cable fits just like the charger cable would.

I have the .83 cent otg cable and it works like how its supposed to.
The poetic is nice, I love it, but build quality could be better. The nexus 7 fits pretty well, but the "leather" cover for the case is okayish. Could be better though. All in all, good solid case. You'll love it.
