POGO (3 Pin) Official Dock Available from Samsung

Galaxy Nexus i515 Pogo Desktop Dock is now available for the price of $90. I want this dock -- bad, but I am not buying it at that price point.

Best part is, it's on backorder!

Am I overreacting? Isn't this plastic and wire? I know that people will pay this much for it, obviously it is on back order, but that's a lot of money!

At first glance it would seem that it should be only plastic and wire. whitehat09 had started on making his own pogo pin dock but his last post states that his GNex isn't exactly reporting that it's charging, so maybe there's something more to it. Here's a link to the post I'm referring to.

Then there's the audio output on the dock. I've seen where some have speculated that the dock might use Bluetooth to get the audio stream from the phone. I don't think that's likely, but if that's true then I GUESS a $90 price point makes a little sense.

My theory, based on the touchstone mod using the outer pins, is that maybe the center pin is used to for audio. I guess we'll see once people start getting their hands on the dock.

Doubt would buy at $90. And am waiting to see if it will fit with cases. Mine is a Diztronic and I need it more than I need a dock but would like to be able to use both.

$90.00 is pretty steep. I thought about it but, I'm not sure now. For that much is has to have bluetooth. The Nexus One dock was $55.00 and it could play music through bluetooth. It wouldn't make any sense for it to be that expensive and it only charged the phone.

Supposedly the 4.0.4 update helps out a lot. But $90 is ridiculous. Hopefully since it is back ordered, Sammy will realize they need to make a few more of these and drop the price. Also, maybe they will get the car mount in gear as well.

$90 is stupid. I bought the OG Dock and the Bionic Dock for $50.

What makes them think this is worth $90?

Just got my Gnex to replace my Captivate... and the car dock is a mount, not a dock. My old Captivate dock does micro-USB to AUX just fine dangit. I need my car dock WITH POGO please! How else do you script things to happen when in DOCK mode, when you never are- plugging cables in with the mount? Annoying. $90 would be annoying too, but at least I could get one second hand that way.

Now that the 4.04 build has been pushed to all VZW phones the fabled Desktop Dock with Pogo Pin is now available but only for the HSPA+ models. I am literally devastated
