Polarized screen?

When I was looking into this phone, one of the few downsides was the LCD screen. I use polarized sunglasses when driving and with my DInc, whenever the phone was on it's side the screen would be blacked out since the glasses and the phone were both polarized. However, when I got the Thunderbolt, it was (and still is) visible with my sunglasses on, regardless of it's position.

Every LCD screen should be polarized but my TB most certainly isn't. Anybody have any ideas? Also, have other people had the same experience or is my phone atypical?

I believe I can see my screen fine with my polarized sunglasses, I will have to try it out again. Normally my brightness is so low that I can't see anything in the sun anyways, so I usually don't look at my screen with my sunglasses on.

My TB screen is polarized. It is very difficult to see in landscape mode with polarized sunglasses on. Portrait mode = no issues. It's not an issue to me.

I have noticed that at some angles I have issues seeing the screen with polarized sunglasses, but then again, I find the screen is hard to see in sunlight in general.

I have Oakley Jawbones with Polarized lens, not a problem seeing the screen, but if it is very sunny out the screen is hard to see.
