I have an Incredible and was eligible for an upgrade in March but I'm waiting for V to come out with something that grabs me. I'm curious how many other people are putting off their purchases.

I buy phones no-commitment, but I'm holding out for the Galaxy S II to land on T-Mobile. If it comes to AT&T, I'll be happy, but I only use my AT&T line for business. Either way, I want that phone.

I'm going to be getting my next phone off-contract, too. Just doing the waiting game now.

I feel you here, I have an Incredible and a Fascinate also and have been holding out for a new phone since the first week of march. First I was holding out for Nexus device( should have know better on Big Red haha) then a dual core other then Moto( Verizon stuffs so much crap on their phones I will have to root it just to find the apps I put on it) and everything they are offering is very disappointing. Im really hoping the Galaxy S 2 comes to Big Red( yea i know the update history but Im going to root it anyway) and LG revolution should have been a dual core device and the Charge is just a last years tech with a big screen. Not sure what they are thinking

I have an Incredible and want to upgrade to a dual-core phone on Verizon with LTE. Basically, Verizon needs to get an EVO 3D equivalent with LTE out of HTC, otherwise I'll just buy the Bionic or Targa.

My contract is not up yet but I suspect I'll be waiting as well. There's always new phones popping up and it would suck getting a good phone only to have a new one put it to shame a month or two later lol.

That's all part of technology. You are outdated the second you walk out the door.

What is the best upcoming phone on big red?

That's pretty subjective, but the Bionic probably has the most buzz. We are all waiting to see what finally ships.

I'm pretty surprised at the number of people who have been waiting for more than 6 months after their contract ended. My wishful thinking is that the manufacturers and carries notice this and give us what we want. Then we'll gladly hand them over some more money.

I generally get a new phone every year or so. Got the Epic 4g in November, if Sprint still hasn't gotten 4g up and running in Phoenix, I may go looking for something where I don't get charged $10 a month for something I can't use.

Yes I have upgrade available but there are no phones screaming buy me as loud as the GSII. Bionic caught my eye but not sure if thats the best phone coming out

What carrier is the SGSII going to?

Like the original SGS series, I'm sure all the major carriers will get their hands on one. As for who gets what first, that's up in the air. I'm eager to see what SGSII has to offer, but nonetheless, I'm just biding my time to see what comes out within the next few months that really "sells" me. I'm currently using the Samsung Fascinate on VZW and I can't complain at all, but I'm all about "new and shiny" so we'll see what "hot" phones they come out with. I'm not scared to change carriers to get what I want. You pay your hard earned money, you darn well better get what you want! lol.

I'll be sticking with my Dinc until I finally see a VZW dual core LTE phone that doesn't conform to the current 4.3" screen trend. I really like my 3.7" screen, and will grudgingly go to 4.0". I'm not a big fan of the larger form factor prevalent these days.
