If you're talking about a factory reset, then it does wipe your phone. If you are talking about a reboot then it's not a complete wipe.

No battery issues here after update. On Verizon. About 16 hours for me!

Fellow Verizoner...I'm not enjoying my battery before and after update but after the update I did a hard reset then reset the battery logic by doing the following:

Charge at least 10 minutes
With device off hold volume up, down and power buttons for 2 minutes
Release and then charge to 100%

Also I turn off 4G when on WiFi and turn on 4G and WiFi off when that's weak. Still not amazing but I think it's Verizon's network killing it plus those lame turds still haven't given us power saving mode or the ability to use 3G only

I did the battery logic reset on Friday and since then my battery life is back to normal .

I did what MMM states (It's in the quote above) the charge ten minutes, turn off, charge to full then the button press thing. It worked for me. My battery after the update was odd, now it's back to how it first was and I did not need to reset the phone.

I am also someone who has dealt with far worse battery life since the update.
