poor battery performance?

Finally I was able to get 18 hours of battery life... I now know the seceret: Unplug your phone after fully charged, sleep for 8 hours (drains only about 3-4% in sleep mode, while your sleeping) and wake up then enjoy the day! The irony is... how I was able to get almost 4 hours of screen on time when I used the phone in this matter (compared to the normal 2-3 hours). Strange eh?

Joking aside... I am averaging about 9 hours of battery life, with about 2.5-3 hours of screen on time with mixed wifi and network data connected. I had to switch to just 2G (im thinking this is 3G since our phones won't display 3G but the download speeds are about the same), and try to remember to turn off wifi, bluetooth and gps when not in use.

The last picture I attached is a mybattery analyzer app. It has been running for almost two weeks now. As you can see, I am now averaging about 5.5-6% battery drain per hour.

When I got my phone I used it till the battery died and the phone shut itself off.
I charged it and did that again.
Then once more for a total of three times letting it turn itself off.
I've had really good battery life with mine.
Way better than the Amaze.

;)

probably my problem... as my phone had 60% battery life when tmobile turned it on... and I was away from home so I needed my phone on... so after the phone quickly dropped to 20% (due to the phone's battery hogging presets) I had recharged the phone... before It died.

My phone's battery life is on par with my wife's myTouch 4g Slide. She gets about 4.75% discharge per hour, uses it during the day and charges it at night.

Well than do it now.
Just bring a charger with you everywhere for 3 days.
Let it shut itself off before you charge it completely.
Do that 3 times.

I have done that and no joy.

BUT...

I did do the battery calibration trick found here: http://forums.androidcentral.com/htc-one-s/174458-how-calibrate-battery.html
It worked great. I got a whopping almost 24 hours on a charge WITH 2hrs and 40 mins of screen time... same as above tests... before I needed to charge the phone. The next day I got 18.5 hours with 2 hours screen time but tonight i'm at 45% and at 13 hours since last charge. All these results are way better than what I was getting.
