Poor GPS Signal

So, ever since I replaced my Inspire, the GPS hasn't connected as quickly as my older Inspire. I just want to know if any of you had this problem, and if there is a way to improve the signal?

i'm on my factory original and it was pretty bad out of the box. with gingerbread it's a lot better now but i still get a searching for GPS in NYC of all places. Google maps/Nav also has a big bug where if you exit out of the app using the back button it will kill the GPS.

might go back to iphone and just buy tomtom or navigon
