Poor voice broadcast

Lately, people have trouble hearing me, while I hear them just fine. The sending connection keeps breaking up.
This is a new development. Service through AT&T. Zip 97322.
Any suggestions?
 
Make sure your microphone and speakers are clear and clean of lint or dirt
 
I have seen reports that the noise suppression feature can cause this. I've always had mine turned off. settings - network & internet - call - additional settings, I have both noise suppression and voice clarity turned off. Don't know why this would suddenly change for you but it could be related to some kind of AT&T network changes in your area I guess.
