i get annoying pop up notifications every few hours that says:

"Android System - SD Card - Tap here to transfer media files"

when i do click on that pop up, i get taken to a place called "MY FILES > SD Card", and then under that, it says 3 folders:

Android

DCIM

LOST.DIR

however, there is nothing i can click, at that point, to make it DO anything!!

so, as a result of me not being able to figure out WHAT can be done on that page, nothing gets done and that pop up "Android System - SD Card - Tap here to transfer media files" keeps showing up.

may i ask if anyone else experienced this?

fyi: i do use a MicroSD card and i chose for the camera's pictures to go to the SD card, ever since i took the very first picture with my S8+ phone as that was when it asked me WHERE i would like to store my pictures.

thank you.

Same issue here. And none of the newly-installed apps on the S8 (Google photos, Google Music, any photo gallery, etc) picks up any of those files stored on the SD card (from my previous android phone). ??

I am having a similar issue. I took it by ATT yesterday and they scanned it but didn't find anything wrong with the phone. They suggested I try a different SD card even though the one I had was new, and said there may be something wrong with the sim tray if that didn't work.

I tried 2 other SD cards, it didn't recognize one, the other it would recognize but even though it showed 48GB of 58Gb used, it kept telling me there was not enough space on the card.

So I am taking it back after work and hopefully they are going to swap it out for another phone
