Pop-Up

When I open my local newspaper on the default Tab4 browser I get
this "Division-D Pop on the tab after my paper tab. Until I close it or
click on my paper tab the paper tab doesn't open.

Is there a place to change some settings pertaining to this?

Unfortunately that seems to be a pop-up prompted by the site, not your tablet or the system. Have you tried using Desktop Mode for that site? When you open it on a computer, does it open that pop-up too?

No and no.

It doesn't happen every time. I would delete the shortcut and create another but I lost that
ability with the Lollipop update.

Going to give it some time and see what happens.

If you want you could share the link and we could test it in other devices to see if the pop up shows up.

Here is a shot of the link. The only thing is it is a log in site so it the pop up might not show up.

I have opened it several times and it is now working fine.

What is that "This plug in" thing in the top right corner.

I also was getting a banner add of previous search items across the top.
I clicked on the corner of it and got to an op-out site and opted out of
79 sites. Never heard of that either. Sorry to digress on to another
Problem on this thread.

The plugin means that the page is displaying some sort of item (an ad banner, most likely) that uses a plugin that's not available for mobile, like Flash. That's the generic container for when those things can't 'play' in your device.

As for the opt-out site, are you sure it was really that? You might have clicked on a phishing site or spam...

I'm pretty sure it was legitimate. Now I longer get the banners for things I recently searched for on Amazon and other sites.

I wished I would have taken some screenshots.
