Pop3 emails deleted from server

New Moto X user, just updated to Android 4.4 yesterday. Since the update, when I delete emails from my Inbox on my Moto X, the emails are also deleted on my email server and I can't download them into Outlook on my desktop later. The email account is set up as Pop3 and "Delete email from server" is set to "Never" and I didn't have this problem before the 4.4 update yesterday. Is this a 4.4 bug? I've read about similar Nexus problems with Android 4.4. Any fixes?

Hmmmm. I have the opposite problem. Set it up to delete from the server, but it never deletes them.
