Popup websites

My phone has websites popping up every so often and I'm not sure what is going on. I installed Bitdefender to scan for viruses, malware, and adware and it found none. Has anyone run into this?

Which websites? If they're clearly ads, then it's gotta be adware related to one of the 3rd party apps you installed. Do they go away in Safe Mode?

One just popped up from datepg.com. looks to be a financial website.

And this is when you're not even using the browser?

Yes, even when I'm not using the browser. I went and uninstalled a couple of apps I recently downloaded. So far it hasn't happened again. Odd, I hadn't downloaded anything 3rd party or what I would think would be suspicious. 2 of them were kwgt packs.

Stopped doing it. May have Uninstaller the right app. Wish I knew which one it was.
