Ported S6 Edge from T-Mobile to AT&T and running hot

I just ported my S6 Edge from T-Mobile to AT&T for work and since porting it the phone is hot to the touch. I looked at other forums that suggested turning off T-Mobile apps that might be using resources searching for service but it's still running hot. I don't want to have to do a reset on my phone because I don't want to deal with all the app reloads etc. Any ideas?

Welcome to Android Central! The APN settings are correct, and you're getting good cell and mobile data reception?

Try wiping the cache partition, which can be a helpful general troubleshooting step. No personal data will be lost. https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-21095
