I'm hoping that's the case. I live north of Portland, ME. 5 miles north of where 4G ends, to be precise. I also live south of Augusta, ME. Portland and Augusta are about equidistant from my location. I'm hoping 4G from Augusta that's schedule to go live this week doesn't end 5 miles north of me.
A few weeks ago, I got a couple of 4G blips at home, served (as verified by OpenSignalMaps) by towers in my home town that are currently "officially" 3G-only. So I'm hoping this is a sign that Big Red is going to make 4G continuous, and not leave a ten-mile 3G gap right along the Interstate in the middle of two large 4G areas.
But it would be just my luck if they did. LOL!
