Possible mic issue?

I love my LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition but admittedly have used it mostly just to monitor messages and emails, check who's calling (I have a bluetooth headset for calls) and to watch the odd You Tube video.

When I got it I used it to respond to messages and to make a voice call and it worked perfectly but today when I have gone to call my youngest daughter the mic isn't responding? I have done a search and I can't find others mentioning mic issues so figured it is either rare OR a permission I am missing - I did reset the watch one time after doing a full restart on my phone.

Any ideas please? It doesn't look like the mic hole is obstructed and I don't think it's blocked.

I have never had any mic issues on mine, and in fact it works better as a speaker phone than my actual phone.

Thanks for the response. I'm hoping it's just a permission that's not been requested or I accidentally denied. If I can't find it I may do another reset and install apps from scratch ONCE I make sure the mic is working.

Edit: Well I uninstalled most of the apps, to stop them installing when the watch re-connected, and reset the watch. When I tested again last night the mic still didn't work BUT I have tried just now, in the office, and it worked perfectly fine. I have no idea what the problem is because I had it working fine in the home when I first got the watch.

The main thing is that the mic does work. Hopefully it will play nicely when AW 2.0 is released. I may even try the watch with my SIM for a day or two to see how I get on. It would be useful in the summer if I didn't have to carry a mobile - just pair my watch with my bone conduction headset and go on bike rides with my daughters :)

2nd edit: OK. After re-installing my apps and watch face apps the mic is once again unresponsive :( I've uninstalled everything again and reset the watch. Once it's setup and the mic working again I'll install my apps one at a time and see which might be stopping the mic working properly. I did read somewhere that someone had the problem when they changed the watch face so might try installing the watch face apps last.
