Can anyone else confirm this

Speculation arises of revamped Motorola XPRT for Sprint with Gingerbread and 4G connectivity - Phone Arena

Is this is in fact true what happens to the people who already purchased the XPRT?
Does it make sense to wait and see if this happens ?

It would really piss me off if this does happen and I got one of the old Xprt's instead of one of the new ones

And lets face it, if you follow "leaked" phones regularly you'll know this is probably 6-10 months out anyway. (If it comes out at all) ... Plus, if its a slider like it looks like, I'll pass. Who the hell wants a Palm Pre knock off.

NO MORE SLIDERS!!! Just give me a better res screen and more memory on this phone and I'll be SO happy! This phone is excellent already but a few tweaks (customizable auto-correct dictionary) and it will be even more awesome!

All they need to do is add a track ball or 5-way navigator, and I am in hog heaven.
