Yanno... that link takes me to the story with the original picture. The only place I see that obviously fake pic is right here in this forum, top of page 10. I cleared my browser cache too... then went back to the story. Same original 'proper' pic.

You're welcome. For the record I have no affiliation with MonoPrice.com I work for a large bank in I.T. BUT... for all your cabling needs, MonoPrice.com is THEE place I order my cables from. Usually $3-6 per cable, and not just the short little 3 foot ones. 10, 15, 20 foot cables for $10 sometimes. Worth a look. And.. to keep this post Bionic related, Let us all know if it works. I'm waiting to get the phone before ordering the cable(s) I will most likely want, but thats probably what I'll get, unless I go with a much longer one.

I don't think its standard for every case manufacturer to have their cases stocked in every store before the phone is released... is it? Just because best buy is expecting some case to arrive on 8/20 I don't necessarily think that means anything about when the phone is coming. Some manufacturers' cases don't come out til later..
That's what I'm hoping. Maybe the Bionic is releasing in September at other retailers but Verizon is going to carry it August 4th?
what gets me the most is, as reputable corporations, don't you think motorola would get wind of this and make a statement to at least acknowledge the rumors? they are OUT OF HAND now, and people are getting genuinely aggravated. this makes it seem like they're both sailing on free marketing being drawn up by some trolls.
I don't know.. Just because there are misspellings doesn't necessarily mean these are fake. They are supposedly internal messages. Which would mean less eyes on them before they are sent out. So I'm still hopeful even though Kellex went back to saying 9/1. Though he did say that we could shoot him with paintballs if he's wrong!
