User on XDA has posted proof of Root on Korean versions of the phone. He's also asked for users of carrier versions to post results of a couple adb commands and apparently after seeing those logs, he believes the exploit will work on carrier versions as well.
Hasn't released anything yet but looks like it could happen soon if it all works out.
