Possibly a fake phone? "Made in China"

I'm a new user and just registered now to just post this thread and discuss.

I'm from Bulgaria and I bought my mobile phone from a mobile phone company named "Vivacom". You can look it up. I expect the phone to be original, but I think it's not. In my class, there are several few people with the S3 and I compared them to my phone and by design they are absolutely the same. But when I asked them to show me the battery, everyone's said that it was made in Korea and assembled in Vietnam. Or made in Vietnam or assembled in somerandomcountry. Also, the earplugs say that they were made in China... which actually scares me a bit more - that it might blow up in my ear.

I dont think your phone is a replica or a fake version, just because the battery is made in a different country doesn't mean its not the real deal. With most Samsung phones you can replace the battery, maybe the store that you bought it from had to replace it? the same applies to the ear buds.

My S3 which I got August 2012 was made in China. It is listed on the phone under the battery. Mine is not a fake.
