I saw on a facebook profile it said it was gonna be released March 21st.
But I dont wanna believe that.

pretty sure I read somewhere that the site you saw is not run by htc or vzw. bestbuy is horribly off if that is the case hah

You know what worries me about this new TB ad? that when it first popped up on youtube the day after Superbowl it used to say " FEBRUARY " now it says "coming soon " .... I hope it didnt pushed till march

i was thinking the exact same thing last night when seeing the commercial 5 times during Criminal Minds. Not convinced that it has indeed been pushed back till March, but I think Verizon may be giving itself a cushion in there in case they run into any shipping delays or last minute hardware issues. I would think any hardware or network related issues would be worked out at this point though, especially with HTC President Peter Chou saying the TB would be shipping this week.

Shipping and actually going on sale are two different things though. While generally things come into stock just a couple days before launch, that's no sure-fire guarantee that's how it will happen, either.

I completely understand the difference between the two. My reference to shipping was not to point out that a release is imminent, it was to make the point that there likely aren't any hardware related issues that would delay the device beyond February. The devices wouldn't be shipping if there were hardware related issues. My point was that the commercial changing from February to "coming soon" is most likely a buffer due to any possible shipping issues OR if there are still internal issues on Verizon's end such as training, network, or even data plan decisions as we still have not heard anything official with regards to 4g data plans.

I hope you are right. I'm sure it is coming sooner rather than later. I don't think they would ramp up the commercials the way they have if the release was a month or so away. I'm patient enough to give it up to another month although I'm tiring quickly of my DX. Over a month though and I may start considering the Bionic or waiting to see what comes out in the 2nd half of the year.

Good point, they may even have had a bunch of people going into the stores asking about it thinking it was out...

I would be floored if this is delayed till March. I have to say I love HTC but the closer it gets to the Revolution and whatever "leaked" date comes from that, it becomes very tempting to get it.

Ive considered the change in both ways, several times. Its a tough call but I cant help but worry that the reason feb was changed is bc there is a good chance it may not be feb.

Yup, or they felt like February was/is the date but is a soft date. I went back and forth on the language change but there aren't any positives in my mind. If it was launching this month for sure, they would have left it as February.

I received a warranty replacement for my D1 yesterday and rooted with stock Gingerbread. It will have to hold me over. I will not waste my early upgrade on a 3G device nor will I go with a sub-par carrier.

Hopefully this BS will be over on the 24th and we'll have our T-Bolts in hand.

if the bolt gets pushed back to march, this launch will have gone from complete and utter failure to disaster. all people want is some info, anything. they have failed miserably. at the least they should come out and explain what happened with the BB fiasco. yes it was BB who did it, but it is their brand that is being ****ed with. you cant have one of your largest partners announce a phone and take preorders for the 14th and then not come out and say anything as to why it didnt happen. that is ludicrous! make something up for gods sake.

I'd have thought if anything with the Atrix being moved up to 2/22 they'd at least give us a bit of info. I don't mind waiting, even if it is March, I just want to know how long i'm going to be waiting. Even the super secretive Apple gives out dates ahead of time as to when we can expect the iPhone. It's not good customer relations in my opinion. This is one time that AT&T is doing something better than Verizon. Not only are they pushing the devices out the door, but they are giving their customers info as to when they can expect their new devices.
