Seeking advice on fixing inability of my Samsung Epic 4g to make or receive calls. Problem started with 2.2.1 update when phone crashed. Phone cannot see cell service even in places with known reception. Thanks for advice!
The phone now has new 2.2.1 installed manually. Sprint store also "reflashed" phone. All other apps besides phone and sometimes text seem to work.
Here's what I've tried over past 3 days. Thanks for your help - need phone up for work! a) Hard reset (and fine doing it again. All key data on google account.) b) reflash, c) new PRL number. Also after each reset, phone needed new MSID and telephone number entered. Alas even after updating these two still no cell service. Phone as intermittenly made 1 of 10 calls I tried while traveling.
Did have app killer, but phone was wiped, then reflashed twice, and still no progress. What could be wrong? Novice user - did not mess much with phone yet besides lots of apps.
