After both of Moto Mobiles tweets, regarding 2.1 got pulled. I am begining to think the update got pushed back.

No no, I doubt that. They where probably pulled for administrative reasons (the big boss didn't like the grunts tweeting about such things.)


Either that or it will be delayed because they wanna give us the FULL 2.1 experience.

so no five screens or live wallpapers or anything else besides pinch to zoom and a new gallery.... going back to root as we speak. This update is pretty disappointing if you ask me.

Well we wont get the app drawer because that requires coding for it to run in landscape mode (the home-screen for the N1 cannot run in landscape).

So its not a matter of the phone not able to handle it, its a matter of the program not being made to run on it.


But I think everyone should at-least WAIT and see what the update will really look like! Can't we act like the spoiled fancy phone owners that we've become (yes, I am one of them), when we actually see what it really will have?

I would say soft becouse without live wallpapers and the 3d app drawer it would probably be a lot easier in our processor

Weird. Maybe another app? Could be the update... I'm sticking with Wifi and my Seidio dock 24/7 when I'm at home now, just in case it is rolling out.

i guess im not used to stock stuff. its ok now. it was like 3g for like 2 minutes str8. looked at usage and it was normal. freaky wednesday. lol

so eariler this week I went and did my homework and downloaded the files so i could root and overclock this little guy. after all that i was ready to go and then moto decided to drop this on us. so i've been sitting on my thumbs trying to decide if i should root and overclock or wait, and now you guys are saying root and get the patched rom...but if i end up waiting and they disable the current root method will i be hosed to it's cracked again?

so many decisions...

But I do think it's rediculous that this update has been postponed so many times, while it's supposedly one of the best HTC phones AND one of the first HTC phones released. By the time the update comes, it'll be released for 8 months!

I've had a problem like this before. Uninstall whatever apps you've recently added or updated. For me it was dolphin browser. So I don't use it anymore. I lost all 3G and 2G. But after delete I got them back.
