That's all I'm waiting for too. I don't even care if they put Sense 1.0 on it, or just gave us 1.6, so long as Google Nav works.

i dunno but we've generated 37 pages about just when the update is going to get here and im running out of patience. my eris lags when typing messages sometimes, and is just slow. i like it and the form factor, but i can't wait forever for it to update but i also can't spend $600 on a new phone. Don't know what to do.

I kinda don't care what it comes with cause I'm tired of my friends with the droid bragging how they have Android 2.0 and I'm hear with 1.5, even the G1 has at least 1.6

Yeah me either and mine lags once and a while when i type but its faster then the old eternity i had try clearing all your caches and use the app killer from the market

If the N1 comes out on the 23rd and the Eris has not got an update then there will be nothing on this post for me to comment on because I will be chatting on the N1 boards about my new phone

Granted I am upgrading regardless, but would love to see the Eris get the update sooner than later.

I agree Chuck, I love my eris too but lets face it, there will always be better phones. The fact we are going to totally left out of the flash game frustrates me. The G1 is already better and it is OLD.
Even if i choose the droid, I will be upgrading to something else as well. So far, the N1 is the best. I am still curious as to th Incredible.

OMG - I was just about to swear off this whole 2.1 happening before April... this **** put a smile on my face after an unbelievably f'd up day at work. I'll put off going postal and most importantly, I'll wait to see what others post... YEAH!!!!!!!!
