Spam and off topic convo are two entirely different things. Besides, a huge majority of the threads on here are spot on. This was clearly a RUMOR thread...all 83 pages (and growing) of it and quite frankly, I don't see the need for a billion page threads either.
In all actuality, the mere thought of Verizon actually releasing an update on time is a rumor.
On the other hand, those of us awating the update simply continue to wait. If it happens, it happens.

And just to add a legitimate reply to this thread....
I powered on my phone this morning and just figured I'd check for a sys update. During the check, I saw a lil green creature appear on the screen and in a very humble voice, it said "All your updates are belong to us", then the phone powered off. Go figure.

New Rumor....... April 29th is the day according to a poster at HTC forums. He says that Verizon Rep said a Memo just got sent out that the OTA will be on the 29th. We shall see.
