Will there be an update...yes. There are too many "leaked" updates for it not to eventually drop. Will it be soon? I don't think even HTC or VZW knows. Obviously, in their eyes, it'll take as long as it takes to get it right. Look at the laundry list of bugs fixed in this current leak and you'll have an indication. If the current (v3) leak is a clue, I'd say it's close. Keep peppering VZW though, can't hurt to keep the pressure on.

I'm trying to download the new leak but I keep getting "Windows cannot open this file. File invalid". I've used all 3 links in the How to Install thread. Any suggestions??

PLEASE HELP!!! Now I have a triangle with yellow exclamation mark in it and pic of a phone on my screen!! Nothing works!! Please help!!!
Do not open the zip file in Windows. Copy the .zip file to the top directory on your SD card on the phone (not the directory named "top", if there is one, but the top directory on the card, not in a subdirectory or folder) and follow the directions from there.

The VZW rep said they would be updating the OS very soon (bought phone 12/21/09) so I got two for my wife and I. We've all been lied to. So now I am so impatient. I plan to have this phone until my NE2 15 mo from now, so I am nervous about root/leak options.

The latest leak that came out looks to be a pretty recent release from HTC. I would say Verizon will probably test it for a couple of weeks, and if they do not find any problems will probably release it around the middle of May. We can only hope they do not find any problems with it.
