If you plan on rooting your phone, I would recommend not setting anything up. Everything will be deleted off of your phone when you unlock it. So anything saved to your internal SD will be deleted...

I have no intention of rooting anytime soon. I wanted stock ICS. That's why I got a GNex. Got what I wanted, no need to root.

Thanks for the warning though. Coming from webOS land, where "rooting" is basically punching in the konami code and done, the idea that unlocking the ability to mod your phone requires wiping it seems so primitive somehow. Still wish webOS had done better. I love my GNex, but even ICS isn't up to webOS calibre yet.

Got mine this morning. I love this phone so far. I'm a tad bit worried about the battery life, but not enough to cry. I signed up for Google Wallet under my secondary Gmail account and, BAM! $10. Now to wait for the $40 credit. Now to get a case.

Exactly! I kept my nexus one stock until I got my HTC Evo and perfered the stock nexus one over the evo even on CM7. I might root but i think I am just going to stay stock. Maybe mess around with a kernel

Finally got ti activated. The video editor is awesome! Sound quality is really good too, even the earbuds are nice

Damn I get an IP address once I connect to my wifi router. It connects, its WEP btw, but will not get an IP address and says its avoiding the connection because the signal strength is so low, but I am literally a foot from the router, and my other devices get full wifi strength connection. aarrgggg!

Does this phone have wifi problems?

If you are on a nexus device you should be using Google voice. Check a box in settings and it will put little "play" buttons in your missed call list and you can access the voicemails right there. Also use it for texting and enjoy the ics blue icon.

no i don't want to use GV. i want to use Sprint VVM. Sprint should put an App in the Market/Play Store.
