GB offers some enhancements like quick settings, download manger, stability, etc. But upgrading is worth it for the larger screen and next gen CPU GB not withstanding.

It may be my imagination but I am perceiving GB as being faster and more responsive. But there is the trade off of getting GB vs being able to root and remove the bloatware which I had done on the original software.

I don't care if Verizon installs this stuff by default, but I sure wish I could delete things like NFL Mobile or anything that starts with VZ. Believe it or not, there are people who could care less about NFL football or paying for navigation when Android already provides that "for free". And seriously, Blockbuster?

I LOVE the phone. Hate the crapware that Verizon loaded up on it.

First impressions:
- it does seem faster. (More compiler optimizations. Improved task scheduler. Concurrent garbage collection, etc.)
- new Quick Settings tab on the homescreen dropdown.
- new Running tab in app management (now I can see where my memory's gone)
- And it is shinier subtle changes in the notification bar

What else have you guys noticed?

Just finished the manual update. Looks good. Subtle changes here and there that I notice so far. Google+ went wacky after the restart and kept repeatedly bringing up the Connect screen. I did a force close and then an uninstall to get it to stop.

My wifes phone is getting the update now, for quite a while this morning it said it wasn't available. I did a restart of the phone and tried again, there it was!

NO updated mine this morning, didn't have to do anything once updated all settings came back as I left them before the update.
