thank you for taking the time to do that. had no idea. I use apex on my phones and nova on my tablets. for some reason they each perform better for me on the devices I've chosen. I've tried each one on both and so I keep using apex on my N8 even though I did install nova and set it up. too bad apex can't do that. I will see if I can theme my S2 and have the icons since I use nova.

Same setup, using Nova Launcher, Pixly Icons (not from theme), Zooper widgets I created and Google Earth wallpaper from Google wallpaper app.

What I've noticed with themes and Nova. Samsung theme will change settings menu colors, default Samsung apps(dialer, keyboard calculator etc) colors. It will also change icons within the touchwiz landscape that Nova can't change such as: edge panel and lockscreen app icons. It will change wallpaper and icons if you don't have a custom icon pack set I Nova Launcher.
