Post pictures as previewed?

Anyone enable this so it doesn't flip selfies? I just noticed it is off by default. What's the benefit of having a selfie flipped?

If it is enabled, it essentially posts a mirror image. So text will appear backwards. By disabling it, text will read properly and you will get an actual picture of what the camera is seeing.

People like the image to be the same as when they take the image because when it flips, it often looks much different than what they saw when the pic was taken I guess.

I don't like text being flipped so I'd rather have the actual image.

I think it's the other way around. I don't have the option enabled so it flips my selfish. I think if it's enabled, it posts the picture as it's taken.

If it's enabled, it posts a mirror image and text is backwards. If it's unchecked, it flips the image. I just took this with it disabled and it flips what I see on the phone.

Yes, it's very confusing because you'd think that it you would be looking at a correct image while you're taking it but if you look at yourself with a logo shirt on, you'll see it's backwards (like looking in a mirror) on the screen. When you take it, it's correct. So, if you want it backwards, press the "Pictures as previewed" which is how it looks before you took the photo.

Was this feature just added with an update? I just noticed this yesterday AFTER I posted a selfie on fb. Wasn't even paying attention until I saw the letters reversed on my smoothie king cup lol And it's automatically enabled, you need to disable this setting to not have your selfies backwards.
