A friend of mine has been looking at the Moto X but he is upset with the reviews he has seen about the Camera in low light. Has anyone tried using another Camera app to take pictures. Specifically the "Google Camera" app. If so could you please post a comparison picture between factory camera app and a third party app in a low light settings like a bar?

Everyone on my Facebook friends list has been going nuts over this picture I took this morning haha. I find the lack of OIS makes it a little tough to shoot my dogs when they're going super crazy but this came out great

Just a layover in the morning on my way to London for a West Ham game this weekend. Couldn't pass through Ireland without getting a guiness though no matter what time of day.

Here is a picture of my lunch two days ago: seared salmon at a Japanese restaurant. I had to shrink the image file size down to make it uploadable. Medium amount of ambient light. It was shot hand-held. A lot of reviewers are not photographers. Imagine giving professional dSLR gear to the average person on the street and we are suppose to be able to judge what the camera is capable of. Impossible.

Yes and no. Cell phones are used by regular plebs such as myself so I want to know what it can do for a normal person. It's good to know what I'm going to see when I take the shot. I don't care what a pro can do with the camera cause I'm not one. It's a rare pro that's gonna use a cell phone camera

That said, nice picture, nice fish.

Here are a couple of pics I took this morning in 16:9, before I found the advantage of shooting in 4:3 format. Sun wasn't quite up yet...
