Post Pictures Taken With Your Note 9

We're getting SNOW Thursday night into Friday (changing to rain, thank God) - just enough to make a sloppy MESS! That's why we supposedly live in New England... "if you don't like the weather, just wait a minute!"

Good luck

Been very mild for us for this time of year. Some stunning sky's.
Was 16deg today, weird.

I'll try to get you a pic when the snow comes down (if there's any left)! It's supposed to start after dark then change to rain over night, so there may not be any left by morning??? (Hopefully) Maybe I can get one out of the garage with the flood lights on - just for you, depending on how late it is!!!

I am so so disappointed in this camera on the phone. I had a note 5 that took awesome pictures. I was just on vacation for 2 weeks and didn't even want to use the camera on the note 9 as it took crappy pictures. So disappointed and hope there's an update that will improve things. Because now I don't have my Note 5 as it was traded in for this note 9

Got any examples?

That is a picture of lentil soup that should have a grayish tinge to it. I took the picture multiple times as I thought it was just the lighting. My husband used his S9 plus and took the same picture and his came out looking correct.

Outside picture just isn't as crisp and good as my Note 5 would take. I usually take tons of pictures on vacation and I hardly took any.

Someone, somewhere told me to shut off "Scene Optimizer" in Settings as THAT has a major effect on determining what your final image is going to look like instead of what the camera actually saw! ???
Yes I saw that mentioned before too and I've actually tried things both ways and don't really see too much of a difference. I just got so aggravated and just did not feel like taking pictures at all during my vacation. And usually that's all I'm doing and using my phone with doing it. I have so few pictures now. My Note 5 took a lot better pictures in my opinion. I'm hoping the update I just did for arj8 improves things

Strange for sure. Even pre "camera" update, this phone has never disappointed when taking shots.
As always I have been the limiting factor.

As promised BossHogg... Nor'easter whacked us last night and dumped about 15cm (6") and has since changed to heavy rain to make it a total mess. Supposed to end around noon today... two quick night shots in "Pro Mode" then downsized to 2048 width for upload. Backyard with lonely American Flag and my driveway looking back towards the street! This was at about 10:00 last night (8cm)!

Wow. Thanks Jim. 18deg here today, just strange. The end is nigh.

Tough as taking shots of snow in the dark, I always fail. Well done.

Ps - what's with the American thing of flying your own flag in your garden? Is it in case you forget what country you are in?

No, it's just called PRIDE! Even have a 7.6 meter telescoping pole on the back bumper of the truck camper!
