I took one using the Arnova G-Cam App and Night Site... came out horrible... but it came out. Couldn't zoom in because it was -20C without the windchill. My wife thought I was nutz... by the time I got back inside, so did I!!!



I just hung out my back door as you can see... that's the gutter of my back porch and my Ham Radio antennas to the lower left! The moon was gorgeous to the eye though! I should have just tried the regular Samsung Camera App and zoom!

This is where Google camera and any gcam ports are useless.
You need the Note 9 camera app manual controls to properly shoot the moon.
You need to control iso and shutter speed to properly expose the moon.

I took one shot at the beginning of the eclipse before the blood color part.. Note 9 lens is just not big enough to get good detail on its own.

Not the blood moon, but a super bright one over the bay at the end of my street tonight. Shot in black and white. Used my portable joby gorilla tripod, but with a short exposure due to the bright street lights.
