Tap the home button and then the power button and you will see the screen flash. The image will be in the gallery. Do not hold the home button as it will being up the last 6 apps used. Just tap the home button and almost at the same time press the power button.

I had a 3404 but not using the phone outside the house until I get a screen protector.

Still rocking my Atrix which is still comparable to the sgs II!
