Post-update, long text messages don't show fully (2)

Same problem as this poster.

When I receive a long text, I cannot see the entire text without pressing the "View all" button which sends me to another screen. How can I view the entire text like I could before the update?

This is how it is designed now. There are no settings to change it.

Some users, who have not done a reset, still have it the previous way but it will eventually change for them also.

No that is wrong. I've gotten the update and do not have this behavior on my phone. My wife has also gotten the update and doesn't have it either and she gets WAY more texts than me.

Obvious question - but maybe not obvious. Are you using the stock texting app called "Messages" or are you using the app called "Messenger"? I use the stock Messages app.

Sure. I'm the original poster.

I use the stock messaging app & use the S7 edge. This issue only started after I updated to the newest version and I can find no way to reverse or remedy the problem.

I was not telling you to do a factory reset or even remotely suggesting it or anything else.
