@ceejay83 How do you do that? Where are you getting everything from? I'm a complete noob when it comes to phones, so I have no idea where to start. I still have the default screen and even the default background that the phone came with. Where would I begin if I wanted something like what you have? I've liked every screenshot you've posted. Please help...

for the clock/weather i use simi clock. for the dock i use launcher pro with custom icons and docks

you need to root your phone and install a custom rom. i'm using rodimus with black and blue theme

Why, hello there.
Long time listener, first time caller.
Anywho, I just recently picked up my new Optimus, and have learned much in the span of a few days about it.

This is my current setup now:

(3 screen setup merged in Photoshop)


Rooted with stock 2.2 (as of now ) Some custom altered icons and other magical special effects I'm trying out.
Launcher Pro, Beautiful Widget, and a swarm of tweaks not really evident by a standalone pic.

Kudos to the other shots in this thread, it's a lot of really great stuff to inspire! Keep up the great work, folks!

Currently went with an all black theme to see how it would look. In person it looks a lot better than in the pic, you can separate the black on black edges actually.

I updated. I went tron theme crazy with ADW. Blurred the text in the screenshots. Notification bar is hidden. It can be shown with a quick swype in the down direction.

I'm using the Aphrodite 1.2 ROM but built the status bar theme in UOT Kitchen.

Taking an inspirational cue from bswann with his most excellent WP7 style desktop, I dabbled into it last night and threw some icons together.

I guess I'd call the theme 'Things I am into'. Personalization is where it's at.
