Found out how to get a 1920x1080 wallpaper to fit exactly--you have to use an app called 'Simple Image Wallpaper', which sets it as a 'live' wp. I tried Quickpic, Wizardrii, Image 2 Wallpaper, etc, but none of them worked--I was about to give up on customizing homescreens .
Did this just for fun, but was too lazy to further customize it:

(Added invisible hotspots to the buttons via UCCW)

This is what I'm currently using:

(using UCCW motobean clock).
Now I'm off to get inspired by mycolorscreen .

not sure about anything else, but if you're just using UCCW, all you have to do is create a "fonts" folder in your sdcard0 folder.
