I tried extended controls from market but that wasn't the same look as your power widgets.

Okay, I've been through about a million different setups since I last posted. So here is my new setup, the icons are Token by Brsev and the text and layout were done in Photoshop. I have to give huge props to Optykal on the XDA forums who inspired this look.

Lockscreen is WidgetLocker with Digital Clock. Home screen is SwitchPro and calendar screen is LauncherPro calendar widget. The layout was done with Desktop Visualizer, which is an awesome program.

Is the only way to make all of this possible is by rooting? If yes then I'm never going to have an interesting phone? If not then can someone please give me some suggestions on how to make my phone look that great? I have both launcher pro and the other one on my phone. It would be greatly appreciated to pass along some suggestions, that is, if I don't have to root.

No need to root for most things, I am not rooted as of yet. Launcherpro is a good start. you will also want Desktop Visualizer for custom icons and I find the Dropbox app helps a ton for transferring custom icons and other stuff to your phone.

The easiest way to start out is to look at all the forums for inspiration and start small. Maybe grab a cool wallpaper and some custom icons to start out. Also it helps to have somewhat of a plan. No matter what I always strive for a minimalistic approach, but that's just me, everyone likes different things.

I hope this helps, don't be afraid to ask questions but the best thing is to read the screenshot forums from page one, I know it's a lot to take in, but it really helps. AndroidForums.com and XDA-developers.com are also good forums.

Th method i used is to buy beautiful Widgets from the market. It is almost exactly like the HTC version, including the animations. It is also customizable.

thats 1 thing but i also like the HTC music player not the stock android one and it seems like everything costs money -___- launcher pro plus for widgets, beautiful weather widget, etc -____- i wish i could mix sense and launcher pro
