Pastor Ron, check out beautiful widgets in the app market, cost a couple bucks, but it's skinnable and also Includes toggle widgets for vibrate, silent, gps, wifi, bluetooth, and plane mode.

lol, i am not rooted either. there is much you can do non-rooted, though it is a tad lengthier process for sure. info about taking screenshots non-rooted can be found here.

as far as the tethering, pda net doesnt require root for tethering.

out of curiousity, is that pure calendar widget scrollable? i see part of it cut off at the bottom of your tasks and if it is possible i definitely need to check this out. i have the app but just dont have it installed at the moment. nice layout man

The widget isn't scrollable, but see that little gray tab in the top right side? If you tap that, it brings up a scrollable agenda overlay. And its not pure btw, its android agenda widget. He recently added a ton of customization options, and its much more awesome now

i like to keep my bar hidden, so its easier to reply to texts/emails w/ the widget. as far as the facebook pure widget goes, i like the idea of the FB widget (update status w/o opening app), but i wanted a 4x1 one, and the stock widget is only 4x2
