Hi I was thinking of buying a nexus 6p in the next few days just a few questions to ask first though. How is the screen brightness? Ive heard its bright and also not that bright plus hows the white reproduction? Another question is how much memory is avaliable out the box on the 32gb variant

It is not as bright as my 2014 Moto X, but it's bright enough. It is also much cleaner.

25 GB free on 32 GB model.

yeah about 25 GB free ... the display is similar to the Note 4 if you've ever seen that. Some have complained of a slight pink tint, but after staring at some of their screen shots I just don't see it, so maybe depends on your vision. brightness is great. I keep mine at 20% and that's good enough for me. On a sunny day I have no problem seeing it either. If you like AMOLED, outside of the Note 5 and S6, it's as good as it gets. The panel is actually supplied by Samsung. Good luck and enjoy, it's really a wonderful device.

What phone are you coming from?

25.01gb available

WB is nearly perfect at 6700K. Target is 6500 for reference. People say the iPhone has whiter whites but thats incorrect. They are more blue which people perceive to be brighter which gives the impression of whiter. The Note 5 and 6P have almost identical WB and the Note 5 is considered the most accurate display on the market. The N5 has better chromaticity and brightness compared to the 6p

6P brightness 356 nits
Moto X 2014 242 nits

Not sure what poster above is saying regarding brightness. Absolutely not true.

Really? I only had 2014 Moto X for a week, but I remember that screen being terribly dull and dim.

Thanks all. Im comimg from a xperia z2 haha. Ive had ago on my friends gn4 and the screen looks really good. Im im England and I can rather get a moto x pure/style for £350 or a galaxy s6 for £399 or nexus 6p for £439. I was happy with my z2 till I dropped an broke it.

It's very sharp and bright and the colors are beautiful. My previous phone was the Nexus 5 which I really liked but after getting the 6P the N5 looks pale and sickly.

Yeah... my bad. Not sure when or where I came to that conclusion; perhaps it was a comparison to the Nexus 7 that I smeared on to the Moto X. Or is it possible OLED displays on brand new phones take some burn in to reach peak brightness? In any event, the 6P is noticeably brighter than both my Moto X's.
