Best Buy's current in-stock date shows 10/01/2011, which makes me think it would come out the day after (a sunday), October 2nd. Products often show up before their expected arrival date, though. So I'm betting it's either the 25th, or the 2nd at the latest.

I feel the launch of this phone must be approaching.... Like someone said on the AT&T community forum, all of the big blog sites (Android Central, Engadget, BGR, Gizmodo, and others) have been very quiet regarding the AT&T GS II. Only the smaller blogs are posting speculations, and I would argue that their sources are nothing more special than our own speculations here on this forum.

Hey all. I just wanted to give my two cents. I work at an att cor and I too am excited for this device. Being that we are customer facing, they don't give us alot of confidential info because we would obviously leak it to consumers lol

Anyway I'm typing this to say that it looks like the new SGS2 is coming within the next couple of weeks. The signs are all there. We dropped the price of our current best android device Samsung Infuse to $99 this past Sun, vacations are being blocked starting next week in anticipation for a big rush (iPhone wont launch til mid Oct), and we just had a floor reset this past Sunday which is usually done for big phone launches like before the bb torch (iphones have their own display so resets arent needed for launches) Disclaimer: this is pure speculation on my part. When I hear any officialness I will update this thread.

i just gave AT&T the middle finger and bought the international version on newegg. i'll make my money back when the iP5 comes out and i will turn around and sell it on ebay for probably more than double what i paid for.

att just announced it for oct 2. glad i got it on newegg so far, as this wait has been nuts. iphone will be annouced on oct 4 so things should work out good.
