Power amp not Freindly w/ beats audio?

Does anyone else get any cracking sounds during music playback with beats audio on and power amp equalizer? I don't know if the type of headphones matter but im using beats by dre wireless and also to point out the music doesn't crackle when using the stock music player.

I use PowerAmp and don't get any crackling with Beats on.
Check your EQ settings. If you have any frequencies boosted more than a couple db, it's probably too much. In fact, I have to cut a few frequencies in the mid and upper ranges to get it to not sound so over-boosted on my particular headphones. Also make sure the pre-amp level is not set too high.
Another thing you can try is to disable Direct Volume Control. Go to Menu > Settings > Audio > Advanced Tweaks and uncheck Direct Volume Control. You'll have to make some adjustments after that, but it may clear up some of your crackling issues.
