Power button dead

So, the button on the side of my 360 (2014) no longer works. I can wake it by tapping, but if I shut it down or enable theater mode, I'm screwed.

I am 1 week out of warranty, so I decided to just grab another from Google for $150 rather than the new one for twice that. I'll just swap my metal band over when the replacement arrives.

Anyone else had anything like this happen?
