This is on my S5 replacement phone from Verizon wireless. It was working fine Friday night, then it just stopped working. I can't lock my phone if I need to, I can't turn off my phone (thankfully) and if it does turn off im pretty much screwed, cause i have no way to turn it on. If it the button is pressed, nothing happens at all. Like i said, it was working fine friday night and then it just stopped on friday night. Is there any way to repair this particular button if it is just the button? I can't remember if the replacement phone from Verizon is under any warranty at all.

How old is the replacement phone? If it isn't too old, it ought to be covered by warranty. In general, repair of the Power button shouldn't cost that much, assuming the problem is with the button itself and not with the motherboard.
