Power button problem

Hello i have a strange problem with my hawaii device. The device is not flagship, it is a cheap one but the problem is the power button has changed its jop from swiching the device off/on to reduce the sound and original button for the sound work the same now i can not swich it off just i wait the screen until closed by itself and when i want to open it i need to put it into the charging to turn on the screen, thank

Welcome to the forums. That is strange...something has caused the button mapping to change. Aside from a reset, I am not sure how to change it. I don know you need root access though.
