Power Button working, but will not put phone to sleep?

So, after messing with different boot animations for a while, I discovered that the power button will no longer put my Note 3 to sleep. The power button functions normally on a long press, giving me the Power Off/Restart options, as well as turns the phone back on. I tried putting all the original files back in the media folder, but the problem persists.

Anyone else have this issue before? It's starting to drive me a little crazy.

The only way I can think of to fix it is to reflash a stock ROM with Odin.

hi guys same thing just happened to me, any chance the stock flash fixed the problem???
