Power on after charging...

I've noticed that after ICS I need to press the power button twice after charging with the phone off. First press (regardless how long it's held), nothing. Second press, normal boot. Phone runs perfectly but seems a bit odd. I don't remember it ever happening prior to the upgrade. Anyone else?

The first power press pops up the battery level indicator. Once that is in the screen then just hold the power button till it goes black again. Should start up. Do you always charge you phone with it off?

I do always power off before charging and the only time I've seen the battery level shown on a single press is while still connected to the (A/C) charger. The new behavior is when booting after disconnecting..or at least, I *think* it's new. No particular problem, just seems a bit odd.

Well, why not? I have no reason for it to be on at night. I just turn it off & leave it on charger overnight.
