In the JerryRigEverything test video he removes the protector immediately to scratch test the phone. It's just a sheet of plastic. I assume that's it.

Apparently not - my brother got an S10+ from eBay and slapped a Whitestone on- he told me the fingerprint reader doesn’t work reliably.

It already took several attempts to register and since then it’s been hit or miss - I saw him try 4-5 times until it finally unlocked

Could be a genera issue with the ultrasonic reader though - some reviewers say it’s much slower than a regular one on the back or side of the phone

I'm hoping it's not the case for most of them because I have to have a glass screen protector on my phone. This phone is way too expensive and I have a habit of dropping my phone.

I agree on that , but they have in settings sensitivity toggle for screen protectors hope it's still a option on s10

Yes they do. I tried to turn my setting on in hopes it would improve my experience with the FPS. However, it didn't.

And there is 100% a screen protector installed. The other bonuses included in my box was a clear, ultra thin case (which is perfectly fine in my opinion). Kinda mad I ordered an Anccer one the morning before I picked the phone up cause not I don't need it. And in my box was also a brand new class 3, 128GB MicroSD. Helped justify the hefty price tag of the phone a bit!

For anyone wondering, I purchased the dual sim international variant for work. It was released more than a week ago to my understanding. I'm not sure if the 128GB MicroSD is bundled with North American models.
