When I ordered mine the guy told me they may get them in early and if they do he would call me. This seems to be the word around Radio Shack. Hopefully I will get a call tomorrow. If not I will be calling them.

I would assume they would get them tomorrow as Saturday delivery is more expensive. We will see.

I dont believe att will allow them to upgrade the device on the system until Sunday, but I hope I'm wrong.

I work at an authorized retailer for at&t and we received 10 units today but haven't really had any people asking about them. It's now as hyped as the atrix, but still a good phone. I know of one guy who is coming in sunday to get it. I'm still considering getting this to play with for a month and then use another upgrade for the atrix or maybe stick with the inspire depending on what the dev community come up with for added options

Another FYI. the video that Phil did showed a different skin/HTC sense that our phones showed when i booted it up today. The phone he booted up showed the sense like the aria but our inspire had a different three icons at the bottom

Just called the Radio Shack where I pre-ordered the phone at. They said they already have them. I asked if I can come and pick it up like they said I could before I pre-ordered. Now they are telling me that I have to wait until Sunday when they open at Noon.

I really hate when people do not know what they are talking about when you call on a product. They just start to guess and say whatever they can think of at the time. This is referring to them telling me I could pick it up early if it comes in.

If you pre-ordered you may want to call your store to see if you can pick yours up. I am still going to the store after work to speak with someone fact to face to see if I can get it.

While the units have arrived at the various stores; they are not allowed to release them until Sunday which is the official release date. It is one of the legal requirements for them being allowed to carry and sell the phones.

While some places don't care; Radio Shack doesn't want to get themselves in trouble with AT&T and release them early.

We all have to just wait another 2 days for our phones and belive me I would love to have the phone today; it just isn't going to happen.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the way I understand it is that the AT&T system will not allow a salsperson to upgrade an account to this device before Sunday, therefore it would be impossible for the salesperson to complete the contract before Sunday. A non-contract sale might be a different story.

Stopped by RatShack this afternoon and the pre-order offer expired yesterday. He tried to manually enter the SKU but no go. He couldn't offer me the $30 gift card but guaranteed me a phone on Sunday and offered me a 1/2 price discount on 1 item.

Went back by the Radio Shack today and they told me that they can't release them until Sunday and they don't know who told me about picking up early. They also said I could keep my unlimited and also that att has changed some of their plans where you now get UNLIMITED MOBILE TO MOBILE. So it does not matter what carrier you are on you now will get unlimited mobile to mobile.

Also said they got in 6 of them of with 2 are pre-ordered of one was mine. I thought there would be more.

Just called and was informed I was the only one that preordered at my local rs. Not sure if I will go there since they seemed confused when I asked about transferring my wife's # to a micro sim for my iPhone and then putting me on a regular sim for the inspire. Best buy said it wasnt a problem. Best buy has a good warranty too so they may get my biz

I picked mine up from Radio Shack today. I did not preorder though and I was buying off contract. I called a few and no one would release it. Then I found a store that did. They had to sell me gift cards for the full retail and then were going to charge it in the system tomorrow. Might want to try that. I'm playing with mine right now.

I would go in there tomorrow and get money back, and thank them for lying to you and head to best buy or costco ($79)..I got lucky and was gonna pre order one yesterday, one guy was gonna let me, then the other guy said I couldnt even though they had a flyer on the counter about ,so I left and came home, got on here and seen costco had them, thinking it was to good to be true I called and they said come down and pick one up..Not sure why costco can sell them early though...Must be some sort of member thing.. There exchange policy is 90 days also with no restocking fee, and return policy is 30 days...So far I absolutly love this phone..
