Pre order ship date vs retail release date

You know what sucks, when you preorder and don't receive it on the 21st. But walk into a store and they have a few hundred in stock.

I think if that happens a lot of people will buy in store and cancel/return their pre order. Most people who pre order "need" to have the phone before the general public, even if it is 1 day. I think that would be a good way to punish the carrier for not getting the phone to us before the in store release date.

Well here's to hoping they release tomorrow and start shipping pre orders, then release to retail stores on the 21st. I'm sure I'm way down on the list of pre orders as I just did it on Saturday for the 32gb blue.

I would have to say that Sprint will start shipping pre orders out any time after there Samsung S3 launch event. Orders should be going out between the 13th-18th.

I preordered mine on ATT last night, says it will ship on June 21st, and they usually ship 1 day. excited to be back to android and samsung.

Ok, Credit Cards 101: Your carrier placed a hold on your card, they did not charge your card. The hold shows up for a few days and then it disappears. That's just the way credit cards work. When your carrier ships your phone, they will convert the hold to a charge, and then it will reappear on your statement, permanently.
